It was a lovely, calm day for a beach walk with my dog Westly. Many other vsitors were enjoying the 804 trail and the beach north of Starr Creek. The driftline was free of human debris, but there were numerous crab molts. There was no activity of concern to report.

Walking north oh Wayside Lodge I saw 15 or so dead Black Turnstone. That was the only species of bird that was dead. Lots of plastic bottles that I picked up.
