Report Details

Bob Creek is a posted Marine Reserve and no fishing is allowed. As we arrived we saw a man carrying a fishing pole come around the rocks on the north. I continued to take his picture as he came closer and waded across the creek. He had a cloth bag around his shoulder/neck that looked like it might contain fish. At the waters edge before he returned to his car it looked like he was removing bait from his line. I did not take a photo of his car or Oregon state plate. I did not know the phone number to call and report the sighting of an active fisherman at this posted area. When I got home I looked at my photos and saw the number right on the sign. I now have it on my phone. I called and reported the activity. A short time later Oregon State Police called and I described everything to him and emailed him the photos. Quite a few people looking at rocks on the beach. We picked up a little beach trash but left when it started to sprinkle.
