Beach was empty of people and dogs today.

Beach was empty of people and dogs today. Some of the logs close to the bank that have been in place all summer are being rearranged or removed by wave action now. One grey and white bird, smaller than a gull was dead on the beach. Too little of it remained to identify. No litter on the beach. A number of rock cairns have been built on the beach. Some are 3-4 feet tall. No action taken as the tides will remove them soon. Meanwhile they add a pleasing touch.
