Increased amount of sand on the beach which covered up rocks and driftwood. (pic 35 with a comparison photo from 2019 included) Tenmile Creek was outflow was dumping straight into the ocean. For the last several years it has been following a serpentine route through the beach due to a bank of rocks being deposited by the ocean activity along the north side of the creek. Actions & Comments
The dead Common Murre was reported to COASST.Had several long discussion with visitors to the beach. One discussion was with a property owner with beach front access. He commented about the lack of plastic pellets on the beach this summer which we have also noted. He also stated that Agate Creek has a small amount of outflow in comparison to most other years.
