Mile 186 - Tenmile Cr, Searose Beach N of Stonefield Beach Wayside - June 12, 2008

Report Details

A very quiet, clear day with very strong winds. The beach was clean, with the exception of many water bottles at the high tide line. The only change was a small amount of bluff sluffing at the northern end of the mile. No live birds were observed but we saw 5 dead gulls and 1 dead crow.The rebuilt RV Park is open for business and a few of the spaces were occupied.

A clear, beautiful day but with very strong winds. Most of the beach was clean and deserted. South end of the mile was covered in broken mussel shells. There were no live birds in sight throughout the mile.
