Mile 186 - Tenmile Cr, Searose Beach N of Stonefield Beach Wayside - August 14, 2017

Charles and I were at our adopted mile on 8/14. No one was at the parking space save a man mowing. Everything, parking area and path were very clean. Gulls, pretty leisurely walking up and down the beach. There is no longer any beach access, the river is now using the land's edge for its bank. The former stone beach below the houses as you walk north from the Ten Minle River parking access has moved to the other side, the seaward side, of the river. Access to that is from Stonefield Beach at low tide. It is a very nice way to go. Where did the river go? Why it now describes a sharp U turn to the south and heads towards MP 185 territory. Buy the time it reaches the sea, much of it has disappeared into the sand, much like the Colorado, I guess. We went next to Stonefield Beach. It was also very clean, no micro plastics visible. Guess they are under the sand and stone of the new northerly extension of Stonefield Beach.
