Was happy to see the beach so clean, no large garbage and very little plastic debris. More driftwood up on shore. Happy to see Mile 181 in such great shape.

Notable Wildlife
A large group of birds (maybe turns) running around in the sand, not bothered in the least bya us or our dog.
Driftline Content
Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Shells, Small rocks, Wood pieces. Very clean coastline this visit
Natural Changes
Landslides/major boulder falls. 2 new slides from bluffs, smaller than previous.

I noticed 7 cars in the parking area in the Carl Washburne day use location. The high tides were coming all the way up the beach. The beach was clean with no litter observed. The sand was very flat with no sand dunes. The waves were about 3-5 feet I noticed a lack of kelp and seagrass on the beach.

During a minus tide I noticed the sand was soaked with puddles and with wet logs scattered everywhere. There were places where hundreds of Velella jellyfish were observed on the sand.
