It was a quiet morning at mile 181.

It was a quiet morning at mile 181. I didn't find any litter or plastic. The waves were small. The beach had dunes which had trapped small ponds of water. Weeks of windy days has caused this. Usually it's very flat on the sand. There was a hint of smoke on the western horrizon, otherwise it was clear.

Lots of rain in the last 4 days has caused erosion of the vegetated dune on the path and steps down to the beach.

Recent king tides have deposited logs and the waves reached the eastern limit of the beach.

Last time I visited Mile 181 ( a couple of months ago), there was much more driftwood at the entrance to the beach near the steps.

Creek levels were lower due to drought.

Seasonal sand is returning. No dunes High tides comes all the way to beach entrance.
