There were an extraordinary number of amber, sand-dollar-sized jelly fish washed up on shore along both mile 174 and 175.

There were an extraordinary number of amber, sand-dollar-sized jelly fish washed up on shore along both mile 174 and 175. Large concentrations were gathered at the driftline and other strata, but they were also scattered all over the wet sand. They were so thick along the driftline that it was impossible to walk there.

Temperature: 48 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 3.2 feet.

Unusual concentration. An extraordinary number of amber, sand-dollar-sized jellyfish were washed up on shore all along miles 174 and 175.
