Bad day for Dungeness Crabs!
Report Details
Bad day for Dungeness Crabs! Millions of newly hatched crabs washed up along shore line & high tide line - as far as the eye could see! Pictures do not do the numbers justice. Also, took picture of "rainbow" effect on water in low sand areas.
Conditions
Temperature: 65 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: -1.0 feet.
Human Activities
None observed on my mile.

Notable Wildlife
Several crows feasting on crab.
Dead Fish or Invertebrates
Unusual concentration. Dungeness crabs = millions of newly hatched Dungeness crabs washed up along shore line and high water line. As far as the eye could see to north & south.
