Two loud thunder rolls and then rain!
Report Details
Two loud thunder rolls and then rain! What fun - sun came out eventually to a beautiful day. Found several things as mentioned: possibly dead pelican, 2 dead sharks, plover protection fence disappearing under sand.
Conditions
Temperature: 65 F. Cloud Cover: Rain. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 8.5 feet.

Number of people: 1. Number of dogs: 2. Walking or running: 1.
Notable Wildlife
Three turkey vultures guarding a dead shark. Some seaweed washed ashore.
Beached Birds
Total dead birds: 1. Looked to be a pelican. Not sure - picture attached.
Dead Fish or Invertebrates
Unusual concentration. 2 dead sharks - pictures attached. Found 1/4 mile apart, each about 3 to 3-1/2 feet long.
Driftline Content
Land-based debris (picnics, etc.). Cleared 1 grocery bag full of beer bottles/cans
Natural Changes
Sand is burying fence protecting snowy plover retreat. Picture attached.
Actions & Comments
Need at least a bull dozer to move the sand off the protection fence. Buried in several places. Was raining so hope picture does it justice.
