Vandals have spray-painted the vehicle barrier rocks (3) on the Siuslaw River North Jetty.

Vandals have spray-painted the vehicle barrier rocks (3) on the Siuslaw River North Jetty. It is jarringly offensive in this otherwise pristine ocean beach environment. Phones calls and emails sent to the local newspaper editor and Florence Public Works department. No one seems to definitively know what gov't agency "owns" the jetty structure. Hopefully a crew from the local Coast Guard base or Honeyman State Park might have a portable power washer or something appropriate to remove the paint.
