Report Details
Glorious day on the beach, The tide had just turned, it had been quite high (into the roped areas) there was lots of debris to pick up. As I neared my beach exit my bags were breaking, so I piled them by the NO DOGS sign and the ranger graciously offered to pick it all up in his truck. Even so I left six large buoys (see pic below) that were too bulky to carry, and things up in the soft sand area ........There were many what I think were sandpipers, all the way down to the waters edge

My mile was actually inaccessible the ponds on either side of the path had grown together and blocked the path at least a hundred yards before the normal little ford I always have to cross It will be a while before that goes down.

My biggest surprise was the lack of trash, I nearly always bring three or four bags of trash off the beach, but not today.
