Mile 152 Report
Oregon Dunes NRA, north of Threemile Creek
April 28, 2008
A quiet Monday walk on a quiet beach.
Report Details
A quiet Monday walk on a quiet beach. There was evidence of ATV action over the weekend--tire tracks in the sand. We picked up a garbage bag of trash, including a plastic bottle from China. Otherwise, nothing of note. Sparrow Park Road is increasingly difficult to manage, however. The first part had been newly graveled, but the last 2 miles were full of deep potholes that couldn't be avoided.

Very high tide and wave action and not much beach, so we were a bit uneasy, looking at the bluffs in case we needed to scamper up them.
