Coastline along Mile 147 and the preceding Mile 144-146 were clean of major garbage and trash.

Coastline along Mile 147 and the preceding Mile 144-146 were clean of major garbage and trash. No accumulation of dead sealife or birds. The Sparrow Park Road leading from Hwy 1 down to to ocean is once again in very bad shape in one spot in particular. There is a very deep depression that spans across the gravel road that fills with water. It was almost impassable and we barely got through it with a Toyota 4 runner SUV.

Temperature: 52 F. Tide Level: 7.0 feet.

Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces. Very small amount of trash.
New Development
Sand had piled against the jetty and bluff along Mile 147.
Actions & Comments
Removed some trash. Sand has covered most trash at this time of year.

Mile 147 exhibited a lot of sand being deposited against the bluff and jetty.

Miles 141-147 did not have any die offs or concentrations of dead marine or invertebrate animals.

Beach did not display any abnormalities as far as erosion or die offs of sealife.

Mile 147 looked clean with the build up of blowing summer sands.

Since my last visit in June 2017 there were noticable difference to the bluff on the southern end of mile 147 before the Jetty.
