There were a greater number of dead birds on the beach after Saturday's storm.

There were a greater number of dead birds on the beach after Saturday's storm. Unfortunately a large number of dead pelicans at the high tide line. From the 3 mile walk from Bullards parking area I counted 17 dead pelicans. This is the highest concentration of dead pelicans that I have ever seen.

Temperature: 55 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: NE. Tide Level: 2.9 feet.

Tire tracks on beach. Vehicles are allowed on this stretch of beach.

Sanderlings, seagulls, crows.

Total dead birds: 8. 5 Pelicans, 2 common murre, 1 grebe
