This stretch of beach was quiet as always.

This stretch of beach was quiet as always. I saw no animals or birds along this mile today. The beach has built up considerably with sand. Quite a bit more garbage than last month.

Number of people: 2. Number of dogs: 1. Two people with a dog driving in pickup truck stopping to look for rocks. Driving is permitted on this stretch of beach.

Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Shells, Small rocks, Styrofoam, Wood pieces.
Actions & Comments
There was a good deal more garbage since last report. Mostly plastic water bottles, pieces of foam and of styrofoam. I picked up what I was able to carry.
