We have had rain off and on; no big storm.

We have had rain off and on; no big storm. But, even so, the sand patterns change on the beach.As I walked the day that started with rain was changing to a warm, sunny late afternoon. Very pleasant.Large piles of bull kelp on some areas of the beach.

Temperature: 70 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 2.0 feet.

Number of people: 9. Number of dogs: 3. Walking or running: 5. Other Activities: working on dock.

Beached Birds
Total dead birds: 24. 19 appeared to be common murres 3 were quite old, not identifiable 2 were larger than murres with thicker bills

Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces.

Not much trash and minimal people activity, especially given what a beautiful day it was.

During a brief respite from rain, I found the Port busy withdrawing a boat from the harbor.
