Actions & Comments
The day was cool, and the visitors were enjoying the beautiful fall day. All the dogs that were there were under the visitors control. There were Western Gulls (at least 30), Common Murres (24 in the water and flying over head), 2 pairs of Harbor Seals, and I saw one Gray Whale off Shore. I also saw 2 surfers trying to surf off the beach below.

The was a lot of Ball Kelp on the beach, more than you would normally see, other than that everything appeared normal.

I saw only a few surfers on the beach below the Devils Punchbowl state park trying to surf, but there was not enough wave action to surf.
