This was a combination CoastWatch mile walk and SOLVE beach cleanup. I collected debris from the size of a flip flop to small plastic pieces. With several others also collecting, we left the beach very clean, at least until the next tide. There was light drizzle, but otherwise it was a pleasant day, bringing many visitors to the shore.

Walking north oh Wayside Lodge I saw 15 or so dead Black Turnstone. That was the only species of bird that was dead. Lots of plastic bottles that I picked up.
