A number of people were at the Lookout at the Otter Crest State Wayside observing the grey whale activity that could be seen below and to the west.

The summer solstice provided a nice day for the numerous tourists visiting Otter Crest Wayside, where there were about fifteen vehicles in the parking area and approximately 35 people at the viewpoints and in the gift shop.
