A pleasantly sunny and warm day for January. Great day for a walk and picnic. Few other people on the beach. Very light amount of drift consisting of shells, animal casings, small rocks and wood pieces. Almost no human-related litter. Sanderlings, crows, Surf Scoters and gulls on the beach.read more

A balmy pleasant day on the beach. Nice to see no illegal ATV activity. No people on the beach. Light drift consisting of shells, animal casings and wood pieces. Several large flocks of Sanderlings foraging at surfline. Normal winter build-up of sand against the foredune.read more

A busy summer weekend, but few people make it to this section of the coast - makes it nice! Shells, animal casings, wood pieces, plastic pellets and ocean-based desbris in the driftline. Vehicles on closed beach but difficult to tell by ATV tracks how many violations.read more
