Wonderful contrasts of gray and white.
Report Details
Wonderful contrasts of gray and white. Got lucky to have only a light drizzle for this impromptu hike to my mile. No other people on the beach. Shells, animal casings, kelp/algae, wood pieces and ocean-based debris on the beach. Sanderlings, sandpipers, crows and gulls on the beach. One dead gull and one dead Common Murre.

Cloud Cover: Foggy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light.
Human Activities
Only people seen were at the parking lot. A couple of foot prints were noted along the beach as only evidence that someone else ventured onto the beach.

Total dead birds: 2. 1 gull, 1 Common Murre

Actions & Comments
No ATV violations observed - this is usually the only problem noted for this area. People are keeping their ATVs off the beach and going out on foot. Great to see.
