A pleasantly sunny and warm day for January. Great day for a walk and picnic. Few other people on the beach. Very light amount of drift consisting of shells, animal casings, small rocks and wood pieces. Almost no human-related litter. Sanderlings, crows, Surf Scoters and gulls on the beach.

Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 0.0 feet.
Human Activities
Only one couple on the beach south of the third beach parking lot (mile 143,otherwise only a few people on the beach near the parking area.

Notable Wildlife
Sanderlings, Surf Scoters, crows and gulls.
