Monday, November 12, 2012 was a nice fall weather day. Good wind, but not too much, 51 degrees and overcast. A good warm up beach walk in preparation for the winter to come!Not much observed this day. Beaches were pretty clean from organic debris in comparison to the month before. Some kellp, some shells, etc. A good low tide allowed for some quick tide pool observations! Observed (Photos are attached):Possible debris from 101 construction, however we cannot be 100% certain, and more dead Common Murres.A great day to be on the beach!

Notable Wildlife
Black Oystercatchers, Western Gull, many small brown feathered birds hiding in driftwood. Species was unidentified.

Total dead birds: 4. No leg bands. The four dead birds were the Common Murre.

It is AMAZING the amount of sand that has been removed (naturally) by scouring.
