Actions & Comments

We found one mystery fish. It was hard to tell what it may have been. We are guessing a skate? However, it did have quite a few pokey spines on tail and around the head... Also, this is the most sand we have ever seen removed from the section of beach where we preform our Marine Debris Monitoring surveys. Which is a little strange that it is happening summer, usually we see these types of events in the winter. We were not able to walk the full mile due to time constraints.  SUMMARYJust another great day on the beach with good people. We were the only people on the beach.
