Beautiful autumn day with a warm east wind.

Beautiful autumn day with a warm east wind. Not many people about, but a fair number of sanderlings scurrying along the swash zone or standing about in small groups. Pelicans floated by scarce inches above the mild surf. The strand was clear with few anthropogenic debris - no tsunami deposits visible. I suppose the onslaught is en-route.
