Seven members of the Natural Resource/Environment Club worked on this monitoring activity. No mortality -- everything looks clean and good today. Beach very clean only 0.5 SOLV of litter collected. We cut Scotch Broom for NBSP after our monitoring activity.

There were many people enjoying their time on the beach, which is understandable because Nehalem Bay State Park is right behind mile 298.

It was very windy and rainy with just one person observed walking in the distance towards the southern end of the mile.

From the entrance to the beach from the state park, walking north, I saw about 40 people, eight dogs, three horses, lots of washed up upside-down crabs, and several small beached jellyfish.
