Mile 274 Report
Cape Lookout SP
October 5, 2015
Today was our first beach mile walk.
Report Details
Today was our first beach mile walk. We took photos particularly of the cliffs to use as baselines for comparisons. About thirty people were on the beach-some with dogs on leash and some off. Several people were in the water jumping the waves, many were walking the beach and some were sitting and reading. We walked at low tide and noted many bunches of seaweed and groups of gulls. There were some tire marks along the beach possibly from a pick-up truck. The beach was basically litter free.
