It was a beautiful, sunny day although somewhat brisk. I was surprised how few people were taking advantage of the break in the weather. Some photos of recent erosion are attached. The first two photos show where the safety fence by the picnic site is now hanging above the erosion.

Temperature: 50 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 1 feet.

Driftline Content
Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces, Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea). There was an abundance of small pieces of plastic.
Natural Changes
Newly exposed roots/trees falling, Visible retreat of solid bluff.

After days of rain the sun finally made an appearance, making for a pleasant afternoon on the beach.

The recent storms and high tides have deposited a lot of debris on the beach - especially small plastic fragments.
