It was a sunny day after a week of wind and rain.

It was a sunny day after a week of wind and rain. Hence a number of people were on the beach enjoying the break in the weather. Despite the predicted magnitude of the storm, little damage was observed on our mile. Some new logs have washed in (see photos) and there is a little erosion, including the beach access road.

Vehicles
Notable Wildlife
Gulls and surf scoters. Some brown pelicans were fishing just beyond the surf line. They still have not left the area.

Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces.

Visible retreat of solid bluff.

After days of rain the sun finally made an appearance, making for a pleasant afternoon on the beach.

The recent storms and high tides have deposited a lot of debris on the beach - especially small plastic fragments.
