It was mostly a brsik but sunny afternoon. A few people were out on the beach enjoying the last of the summer weather.There are still some brown pelicans in the area. A couple were seen foraging just beyond the breakers.

Temperature: 60 F. Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 3.0 feet.

Driftline Content
Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces, Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea).
Natural Changes
Visible retreat of solid bluff. The beach has now been mostly rebuilt to the extent that the rocks are covered.

After days of rain the sun finally made an appearance, making for a pleasant afternoon on the beach.

The recent storms and high tides have deposited a lot of debris on the beach - especially small plastic fragments.
