It was a sunny but brisk morning, and so not many people on the beach despite a holiday weekend.

It was a sunny but brisk morning, and so not many people on the beach despite a holiday weekend. The storm earlier in the month deposited two unusual items: 1. What appeared to be a crab-pot with its marker buoy and 2: an OSU wave energy buoy (see photo). The only other unusual sighting was that one of the hikers was a fully armed and camouflaged gunman.
