This Friday was one of the first in a while with perfect beach weather.

This Friday was one of the first in a while with perfect beach weather. Most of the persons observed on the beach were enjoying walking. The beach was remarkably free of litter since the clean up was only a few weeks earlier.
Conditions
Temperature: 65 F. Tide Level: 0.5 feet.

Number of people: 33. Number of dogs: 4. Walking or running: 29. Sitting: 4.
Driftline Content
Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces.
Natural Changes
Landslides/major boulder falls, Visible retreat of solid bluff. Two new landslides, each involving a tree, were observed.

After days of rain the sun finally made an appearance, making for a pleasant afternoon on the beach.

The recent storms and high tides have deposited a lot of debris on the beach - especially small plastic fragments.
