Notable Wildlife

no notable wildlife on this beach. Lots of racoon footprints on the beach coming from the trees. A few jelly fish on the beach.

Wrackline Content

Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Wood pieces, Plastic debri (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Styrofoam, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.). My daughter and I picked up 2 bags of trash on the beach, mostly Styrofoam/plastic pieces, small buoys, plastic/glass bottles, large plastic tubing, lots of rope pieces, and other misc items.

Natural Changes

Landslides/major boulder falls. Not much major change over the last year on the land slide along the cliff below the South Cape Look out Trail. There is small erosion along the beach tree line where the bank side is exposed. Looks fresh, perhaps from last king tide.
