Number of people: 45. Number of dogs: 7. Walking or running: 43. Tidepooling: 2. Other Activities: Throwing a ball for dogs (2), climbing the dune (5),. Large groups 6-8 people walking together, windy and showery weather. No cars/ boats on beach.

Wood pieces, Land-based debris (picnics, etc.), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.).
Man-made Modifications
Beachgrass planting or removal. More areas of beach grass planting on fore-dune recently excavated
Natural Changes
Compared to my last report there is some sand buildup near boat ramp and bank under the condominiums. No recent erosion was noted at cape. Further south of the mile appears minimal to no sand dune erosion

One day after a King Tide Nice sunny day at the beach, 47 degrees and calm winds. Grass that was growing between the dunes and high zone completely gone. Normal human activities at the beach . No beached birds or mammals found.

The beach looked great as far as litter, and erosion.

Wonderful sunny day 65. degrees. New construction in the State parking lot at the north end of the mile. Found 1 beached (dead) bird; a Brown Pelican in the high bare zone, middle of the Mile.
