Report Details
It was such a rainy day, I was unable to walk the whole mile, but mostly observed from the hill. I did observe a wedding being held in early September, and the wedding photos were done down near Haystack Rock. It was a outstanding setting! There are 2 new signs at the beach: DANGER HIGH SPEED DORY BOATS LANDING - WHEN BOAT TRAILERS ARE PARKED ON THE BEACH
Conditions
Cloud Cover: Rain. Wind Velocity: Strong.
Human Activities
Number of people: 2. Walking or running: 1. As I parked at the parking lot at Cape kiwanda, I observed 2 new easily visable signs. They read:STAY CLEAR DANGER HIGH SPEED DORY BOATS LANDING- when boat trailers are parked on the beach. It is too bad they weren't put up a few years ago. It was a stormy day with large high waves. The wind was 30-40 +.
