We were not able to walk the entire mile, but we could see down the beach.

We were not able to walk the entire mile, but we could see down the beach. It all looked very clean and quiet. Only one person other than us.
Conditions
Temperature: 23 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Tide Level: 9.0 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 2.
Driftline Content
Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces. Very little wrack following the king tide. Compared to a month earlier, there was almost no wrack.

Overall a very clean and beautiful coastline.

It was a pleasant, sunny day with well-separated groups of people--including young children--just relaxing on the beach.

From my perspective on horseback, the beach looked in great shape and was being used by visitors just like a beach should be on a nice summer day.
