Mile 245 Report
Roads End Beach, Wayside, Logan Creek
September 22, 2020
Warm, humid day on the beach.
Report Details
Warm, humid day on the beach. Little wind, no smoke. I was pleasantly surprised not to see much debris from the Labor Day windstorm and the Echo Mtn Fire, other than a lot of pine needles in the wrack line. The mouth of the Salmon River is just north of this beach. Noticed a group of people with a fishing pole and informed them of the Cascade Head Marine Reserve, with no fishing allowed. They said they didn't know. Nice to see the "Fires Prohibited" signs posted at a couple of the beach entrances.
