Clean beach with the usual organic matter in the wrack line, including the papery remains of an old velella velella stranding.
Clean beach with the usual organic matter in the wrack line, including the papery remains of an old velella velella stranding. Very little garbage and I did not see any dead birds. First beach walk since January, due to foot surgery, and it felt real good.

After king tides and heavy surf, most of the usual driftwood was up nearer the bank along with minimal bull kelp.
The beach mile varied quite a bit - with the south (less traveled) section with darkened sands and clear of most debris while the north end, with more visitors, was covered in stones with more small debris (esp.
