Beach was very clean except for a couple dead murres and a sea lion carcass just north of Roads End State Park.

Beach was very clean except for a couple dead murres and a sea lion carcass just north of Roads End State Park. Called OSP to report the dead sea lion.It seems there are more bald eagles in the area this spring. Always a beautiful sight.

After king tides and heavy surf, most of the usual driftwood was up nearer the bank along with minimal bull kelp.

Just wanted to say there have been a lot of brown pelicans this season, more than I've ever seen, and I'm wondering if they will stay for the winter?
