A couple new signs at the 73rd St beach access. One regards public restrooms and the other fireworks. Despite increased proactive measures taken by the LCPD and North Lincoln Fire and Rescue, there were a lot of fireworks set off on Roads End beach July 4th, overwhelming law enforcement once again.

After king tides and heavy surf, most of the usual driftwood was up nearer the bank along with minimal bull kelp.

Just wanted to say there have been a lot of brown pelicans this season, more than I've ever seen, and I'm wondering if they will stay for the winter?
