Erosion of sand has exposed the black sands underneath in some places (new clarissa oil?) Sand banks are eroding ..leaving plants roots exposed and in the north end (with the cliffs) slopes are totally washed away and a new pine tree has fallen down... please see photos...

Just wanted to say there have been a lot of brown pelicans this season, more than I've ever seen, and I'm wondering if they will stay for the winter?
