Not as much small debris but still a great quantity and an amazing array of large debris including, but not limited to: car fender, 10 gallon gasoline container, dozens of either 6 inch or 10 inch lengths of either black or gray rubber "tubing" (not your standard tubing, I 'm not familiar with this material, it has a thick wall), large pieces of a dense styrofoam type of material, dozens of the big liter bottles and lots of bits of frayed polypro lines.

Just met Walter Munk. I asked for his advice, if he had one piece of advice for humanity what would it be, "Be careful what you put in the ocean."Telling.There was also a dead fawn whose haunches, and only the haunches had both been eaten.

Driftline Content
Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Styrofoam, Wood pieces. Not as much small pulverized pieces but more larger pieces.

After king tides and heavy surf, most of the usual driftwood was up nearer the bank along with minimal bull kelp.

Just wanted to say there have been a lot of brown pelicans this season, more than I've ever seen, and I'm wondering if they will stay for the winter?
