Wecoma Beach north, Lincoln City, Roads End south
March 25, 2018
This was a holiday weekend.
Report Details
This was a holiday weekend. The parking at Roads End State Park is not adequate for the number of vehicles trying to find a parking spot on a sunny day. Cars were parked into the neighboring streets.People were carving names into the cliffs, particularly the area below Chinook Winds resort. 2 young men were surf fishing. I did approach them and tell them that it isn't allowed as I looked into their bucket holding a small perch. They said they didn't know and continued fishing. I did them it's a marine reserve with no fishing and it's posted on the signs at the park. Except for a lot of people, not much notable except a pair of mallard ducks who seem to be nesting nearby as I have seen them at the beach in the shallow waves a number of times recently.
