Man-made Modifications
New riprap or shoreline protection structures. Major sand and riprap restoration along grassline from beach access 50A north to property 295. Bulldozers working near property 295 daily. Tide comes in at that point to completely cover beach sometimes. Beach north of that area very wide at this time of year. Erosion and the restoration are still making some of the unofficial beach accesses unusable. The only safe accesses are 50 and 50B.
Natural Changes
Erosion evidence along grassline north of property 295 but no restoration occurring at this time. Homes at this point are set back quite a ways and don't appear to be in danger, unlike ones to the south.
