Very little beach to walk on at this time of year at high tide. Waves come in all the way to the riprap line. Beware of sneaker waves. Accesses are still hazardous or unusable on Mile 238.

Small rocks, Shells, Wood pieces.
Man-made Modifications
New riprap or shoreline protection structures. On-going riprap project. Several areas on this stretch of beach being built up with riprap and sand, just below homes.
Actions & Comments
Riprap project has been going on for a couple of years. Truckloads of boulders are brought in and dumped in a staging area, which aggravates homeowners, but the work must continue.

Beach was completely deserted today. The only usable accesses are at 50B and in between properties 281 and 283.

Beach accesses are currently closed along Salishan Drive, except at the end of the road at access #50, and an unmarked access at lot #349.
