Some beach accesses have been reopened (50B and between property 281/283). Others are still roped off and dangerous. Access at Beach Grass Lane has been improved.
Conditions
Temperature: 55 F. Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light.

Driftline Content
Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces.
New Development
New staircase built in one area, not attached to a private home. Will investigate who can use.
Man-made Modifications
Dune modification/removal, Beachgrass planting or removal, New riprap or shoreline protection structures. I was told by residents that riprap project was finished for now, but there is a large excavation on beach in front of properties 307-309-311, with piles of boulders waiting to be placed.
Actions & Comments
New home, I think, being built on property #305 with large equipment positioned on the property on beach side. Some boulders piled on beach may be used to riprap that property. No work being done on a Sunday.

Beach accesses are still primarily closed (No Trespassing signs) but a couple are usable (50B, 50, etc). Riprap project seems ongoing in some areas, but completed in others.

Beach was completely deserted today. The only usable accesses are at 50B and in between properties 281 and 283.
