Report Details
Sunny cool, clear day with calm surf. Summer's sand deposits eg ramps and crescent dunes are gone ; no new winter erosion of dunes. Large amounts of woody debris in driftline.When high tide is reached, the northern one forth mi of beach will be impassable.
Conditions
Temperature: 41 F. Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy. Tide Level: 6.5 feet.

Small rocks, Shells, Wood pieces, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.). First time I've seen this: 3 tubers about a foot long, rather soft, yellow. No greenery attached. Large amount of woody debris up to 9 inch diameter trees

A seasonal creek is flowing heavily and has carved a trench 3 ft deep at deepest

Found the partial remains of a large (6'x6') cylindrical buoy on top of driftwood about 1/3 mile north of Henrys Rock (monolithic HR marks the south end of mile 23. Your reporter called Harris Beach SP who is responsible for cleanup of Pistol River SP which mile 23 is within. The rest of the beach is smooth and litter free.

There was a lot of small plastic debris and natural tree debris along the tide line between Meyers Creek and a short distance south of the stacks.

Steep newly cut foredunes and rocks more exposed because of winter waves scouring the beach.
