Report Details

In beginning January 2022, as I walk this stretch of beach every day, I noticed a very large entwined and tangled piece of rope and plastic that had washed up on the shore.  I was concerned that it would wash back out to sea, so I tried to remove it, but it was too heavy and couldn't untangle it piece by piece.  Then one day, I noticed it had been removed. It must have washed up on an unusually high tide because it was there for a few days until the park ranger did his rounds by vehicle.  I feel it's important to give a shout out of THANK YOU to the park ranger(s) who cut the debris in pieces and hauled it off. This is my first Mile Report. Although this picture was taken on January 4, 2022, I felt it was important to post, albeit untimely!
